MasterCraft: Competition Breeds Transparent Outcomes

MasterCraft has relied on digital advertising to drive leads to dealers since they went public in 2015. As they analyzed performance, they wanted to make sure they were getting the best return on their investment without losing the consistency of an agency overseeing their advertising efforts.

Work

We love testing efficiency and knew losing leads during a changeover was unacceptable. We proposed an aggressive head-to-head acquisition competition (same budget, timeline, and KPIs) between their current agency -- a leader in digital advertising since 1956 -- and us.

Impact

The initial campaign we ran was an incredible success. By utilizing familiar ad platforms in new ways, we outperformed industry standards and our competition. Our audience segmentation helped drive more traffic at a lower cost and ultimately helped MasterCraft optimize audience characteristics, landing page structure, and ad creative that is still being used today.
