Nike is a leader in innovation, investing in new projects and evaluating opportunities on a regular basis. In order to invest in the right ventures, Nike Apparel partnered with Verify to redesign their innovation process.

Work

Innovation doesn't happen on accident. Working with key leaders on a coaching basis, we helped reimagine the investment strategy for ho they built their innovation portfolio. To do this, we interviewed key stakeholders and developed a process that best aligned with existing strategic goals and pipelines.

Impact

The ability to say no with confidence is just as important as saying yes. By developing a new process for how Nike invested in potential projects, they can better decide what gets funded, shelved, or pivoted in their innovation pipeline. Along with the new process, we ran workshops for existing projects to put them through the same criteria, training staff along the way.
